“I am invariably late for appointments … sometimes, as much as two hours. I’ve tried to change my ways but the things that make me late are too strong, and too pleasing.” ~Marilyn Monroe

time-mmonroeHave you ever been late to a doctor’s appointment, an interview, or maybe a date?  I believe we all have, it’s a women’s thing; not something to gloat about but anxiety takes over making us vulnerable to our subconscious mind highlighting our insecurities.  If anxiety hits often even when nothing has triggered it, you might suffer from an anxiety disorder that you might want to look into, just to be on the safe side.  A short list of most common ones are explained in plain English, symptoms, causes, and what forms of therapy work best for each.  Remember, You are not alone!

  • Insomnia is the main contributor to my tardiness; my condition is chronic by now, considering that menopause is being flirting with me for about a year, (pedophile, how dare you? I’m barely 40). The sooner it comes, the sooner it leaves, I hope I can relate to someone out there!
  • Stress is a minor contributor; why minor you wonder? Well, who doesn’t deal with stress on a daily basis?  Coming from a big family and having a big family myself  I don’t worry about the little things; believe me there’s plenty of issues that need my attention.  For starters, my 2-year-old getting into the habit of taking off her diaper and running around naked, my 4-year-old not flushing the toilet or washing her hands all the time, my 6-year-old writing letters backwards or upside down (Dyslexia comes to mind).  I could just go on, and on, I have 6 children all together and 2 nephews staying with me about 90% of the time; can you feel now?
  • If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem cannot be solved worrying will do you no good. ― Śāntideva

  • Being a Perfectionist when it comes to organization tops the cake on the tardy issue; everything must be in order.  “There’s a place for everything, and everything should be in its place” my mother used to say all the time, you couldn’t go anywhere until everything was clean and in its place.  So as I’m trying to leave and kick someone’s shoe or a toy that is in the way we have to turn around and take care of that; if you let children slide they end up taking advantage of it.  Most importantly, kids need routine so they can make a habit out of daily chores, start developing their common sense, and work on their multitasking little by little.

If you think my New Year’s resolution is going to be “I will be on time where I need to be..”200_sNever have I had a New Year’s Resolution and more than likely never will, if you really want something you’ll reach for it, and most importantly, if it’s meant to be you’ll get it before you know it. The only thing that I can tell you for sure is that my chances of being late this year are down to 33%, let’s break it down again, should we?  Doctor’s appointments are the only place that I have to worry about being late, I’m way done with the dating game, (after 6 children you would think right?), and since I’m a stay home mom, no worries about missing any interviews. So there you have it, achiever of the year.  So just wait on Time Magazine 2017 since Trump already beat me this year, which is a good thing because I can use these coming months to get a real tan (check out Palm Beach Tan), some Botox, maybe fillers like Radiesse, and we’ll see what else gets thrown my way that needs fixing, (The RealSelf  app can find me the solution and the Doctor right around the corner).img_1855Like my niece Maribel says “have to be on Point” (She was NOT on point in this picture at all!!!😂😂🤣🤣 She’s gonna kill me…..Be safe y’all!!!!

Gracias por su atencion, que tengan una hermosa Navidad, celebren con moderación, y aprecien a todos los suyos a lo cab…..Besos y abrazos a todos!!!!
